We're delighted to say we will be donating 3 boxes of our Chicken Products every week to the fantastic Ronald McDonald House Charities!

Here's a pic of Veronica Reid from Ronald McDonald House collecting the boxes that will go to feed the families who come and stay in their accommodation. Read about this fantastic charity below...

About Ronald McDonald House Charities

The Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation care and support for 20 families every night while their seriously ill children are inpatient or receiving care in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital.

The House enables families to stay together so that they can be with their sick child at what is a very traumatic time for them all.

The first,16 bedroom, Ronald McDonald House is situated on the grounds of Our Lady’s Hospital and our smaller 4 bedroom House is directly across the road at St Mary’s Drive.

Many families travel far from home to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children. Often, it can be a long time to be away from home, or to divide a family. For children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having their mum and dad close by for love and support.  Ronald McDonald House program provides a Home for families so they can stay close by their hospitalised child at very little cost.  The House works on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on healing their child – not where they can afford to stay, where they will get their next meal or where they will lay their head at night to rest.

Rosie & Jim have organised Shine A Light Night on Friday 14th of October from 7pm to 7am, where employees of Rosie & Jim will sleep out on site for one night to shine a light on homelessness in Ireland.

Participation in Shine A Light Night helps change the lives of families, young people and children who are without a place to call home.

Together we are aiming to raise €5,000 to support families and children experiencing homelessness across the country. Donate to our fundraising page:

Thanks to Karl Brogan, Secretary for sending this us lovely letter...

Dear Rosie & Jim

On behalf of Emo Celtic Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Soccer Club, I would like to thank you for your very generous donation of €600.

Your continued support of the club is very much appreciated. The money you donate is used to purchase footballs and training equipment which is used by all our players from U7 to U17.

Rosie & Jim recently sponsored Rath National School €15,000 for a sensory room for children with special needs within the school.

The parents of the children attended the launch and had a lovely reception of tea and buns for Rosie.  They presented her with flowers and a lovely card on the day as a special thank you. We are both thrilled to be able to donate to a life changing resource like this.

Wishing the children at Rath N.S. many happy hours in the sensory room.
