Ingredients
- Rosie & Jim Turkey Burger
- Burger Buns
- Sproutslaw
- Cranberry Sauce
- Lettuce
Sproutslaw Ingredients:
- ½ small red onion finely sliced
- Juice of quarter of a lemon
- Salt and pepper
- 1 small carrot grated
- 100g brussels sprouts grated
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
Method
Sproutslaw Method:
1. While the cranberry relish is cooking, make the sproutslaw.
2. Mix the sliced onion with the lemon juice, salt and pepper in a small bowl, then add all the other ingredients and stir thoroughly.
3. Transfer to a serving bowl
Turkey Burger Method:
1. Cook the Rosie & Jim Turkey Burger according to the package instructions until fully cooked and golden brown.
2. Lightly toast both halves of the burger bun in a pan or toaster for extra texture and flavour.
3. Spread cranberry sauce on the top bun.
4. Spread sproutslaw on the bottom bun.
5. Place the lettuce leaves on top.
6. Add the cooked turkey burger.
7. Close the burger with the top bun and secure with a skewer, if needed.
Serve with sweet potato fries, festive coleslaw, or roasted veggies for a holiday touch.
