Juvenile Arthritis is a disease which occurs when the bodies immune system attacks itself and therefore differs to adult onset Arthritis. There is currently no known cause and no cure.

iCAN is a parent-run network providing support, information and advocating for best care for those affected by Juvenile Arthritis. iCAN is 100% volunteer based and run by parents of children with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA). No one takes a Salary from iCAN – 100% funds by iCAN raised go towards making things better for kids with Arthritis in Ireland!

When Mairead from iCAN got in touch to tell us about the fundraising event they were running last Saturday, we were more than happy to donate boxes of Chicken Goujons to feed the 25/30 Children involved in the Croghan Hill Challenge.

Here's a photo of Mairead with her little daughter Meghan.  Meghan who is 4 has Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis since the age of 22 months.
