Tasting days at Centra Ireland


Over forth coming weeks Rosie & Jim are hitting the streets around selected Centra stores in Ireland for some exciting tastings of the new retail range Its all Good by Rosie & Jim. The day normally runs between 2 & 6pm with lots of tasty treats to try, prizes to give away and much more asides.

We love to see customers and hear from them, many families have stopped by and left with their appetite whetted and maybe some freebies under their arm.

New retail range launched – Its all good by Rosie & Jim


The new frozen range is marketed under the ‘Its all good – by Rosie & Jim’ brand is trialled in the freezer cabinets of 8 Centra stores with the intention of nationwide roll out in coming months.

The chicken grown in EU has some of the best traffic light status of the sector and is priced very competitively. All products are made in Ireland and the company is very proud of the level of repeat customers they have.


Rosie & Jim’s making a difference in Tanzania

Run down schools, crowded class rooms, lack of resources and virtually no sport are all part and parcel of a young persons life in Tanzania, Africa.

Irish volunteers Aisling Quigley and Anna Moore have set about changing the experiences young people are faced with in everyday life. Their work is delivered via Camps International and the core project is based around improving educational infrastructure at the local primary schools and improving village life as a whole.


UK and Irish poultry sales set to increase by 3-4% – Moy Park


Poultry sales are expected to grow faster than other proteins, at around +3-4%, Janet McCollum, Moy Park’s Chief Executive, says.

McCollum was detailing Moy Parks strategy for 2015 at an event by its parent company Marfrig Global Foods when she said poultry sales would increase due to its price point against other meats and its standing as a versatile and healthy protein.


CATEX 2015 - Celebrating 50 Years of Inspiring Catering Excellence
