We were delighted to donate €200 to the Ennis Sub Aqua Club for their annual St Stephen's Day fin swim in the River Fergus, Ennis.

Well done to all involved in this great cause - we hope the water wasn't too cold!

Read the lovely letter from Ennis Sub Aqua Club below.

Dear Rosie & Jim

On behalf of Ennis Sub Aqua Club Search & Recovery, please allow me to extend our thanks for your generous contribution of €200 to support our annual St. Stephens Day fin swim in the River Fergus, Ennis.

Ennis Sub Aqua Club Volunteers provide underwater Search and Recovery services throughout the county of Clare and provide assistance further afield if needed. We are the official team called out by Clare Civil Defence for inland searches and one of a small number of teams assisting the Coast Guard for searches on and around the coastline. Unfortunately our services are frequently in demand. This can be a very traumatic time for friends and family.

Your generousity will allow us to enable more divers to be trained to assist in this service over the coming year.

Many thanks
Yours sincerely

Jorg Gerlach
